Description

The International Accountability Project (IAP) is a small, public-interest, non-profit organization that was established in late 2003 by Dana Clark. The IAP was formed to improve citizen-based accountability at international financial institutions, and to promote the rights of people who are threatened with displacement by internationally-financed development projects. Our work builds on the stepping stones of accountability laid by decades of civil society campaigning to promote principles of justice, accountability, environmental sustainability, gender equity, development effectiveness, transparency, disclosure and participation at international financial institutions.
