Description
The Green Mountain Institute was founded in 1993 to offer high quality massage training, in small classes with low student teacher ratio, and an emphasis on extensive in-class practice. Since then we have graduated students who work in many US states as well as in Canada and Europe. Our graduates have been licensed in states including Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Virginia, Tennessee, Florida, Illinois, Colorado, Oregon, Washington, Hawaii, California.
Most of our programs are taught by two teachers. In addition to increasing the amount of personal attention our students receive this permits one teacher to demonstrate, focusing completely on what they are doing, while the other teacher describes what is being done and answers questions. The two teacher system also provides an opportunity to see two different practitioners work and to have the insight and experience of two individuals.
All our faculty are holistic practitioners with extensive experience in their field. They are also caring teachers, dedicated to helping your training be a journey of self-exploration.
