ICDL US is a wholly-owned subsidiary of ECDL Foundation , the non-profit certifying authority of the ICDL / ECDL program. ICDL US was established to manage the accreditation of a growing network of ICDL Accredited Test Centers.
Richard French, BCS Director of Educational Policy recently visited the global headquarters of ECDL Foundation, in Dublin. He met with ECDL Foundation Chief Executive, Damien O’Sullivan, to discuss the ongoing success of ECDL in the UK, which has recently seen 71% more learners complete their ‘ECDL Essentials’ programme this year compared to last year. Richard and Damien also discussed how the ECDL success is helping BCS with its digital literacy programme.Richard highlighted the significant value ECDL provides towards employability.
