A. Yes in all cases. Revolving door cylinder locks are - comparable to locks on other types of doors. The alarm, as required, should be included in the original specfications to operate in conjunction with the accepted revolving door locking device. This is true for both Manual and Automatic doors. Additionally, IRD manufactures advanced Security doors that meet the needs of business and government entities.

Our Service and Sales Departments can provide you with assistance in designing and planning for your new door, and for parts and service for existing doors. Even doors not originally manufactured by IRD can benefit from a retrofit or replacement of existing worn parts.

International specializes in custom metal fabrication and unusual applications such as fabrication of wood doors or renovation of existing entrances. We guarantee both material and labor for a full year if one of our products should need repair. We'II pay for the labor or send someone from our facility to personally do the repair.

International Revolving Door Co. (IRD) alternate sub-assembly manufacturers may be considered, but must obtain approval 10 days prior to bid date. For approval to be considered, manufacturer must submit current literature, project list of previous successful installations in air supported structures, indicating date of substantial completion, as well as name and telephone number of individual responsible tor building's operation.
