The concept of Internet Trains was envisioned early in 1999 during the Dot.com boom. September 1st, 1999 it became a reality when InternetTrains.com received its first online order. Dealing with one vendor out of a small location in Southern California, Internet Trains quickly grew. While thousands of Dot.com business were receiving millions in venture capitalist money, Internet Trains held to its roots and grew the old fashion way with hard work and perseverance. Overcoming many obstacles in the early years and expanding to larger facilities five different times. Internet Trains finally found its current home in Brea, Ca. April of 2006 became a milestone year for Internet Trains. After 19 months of planning and over six years of listening to our customer's wants and needs, Internet Trains launched their totally new state-of-the-art website. The new InternetTrains.com website is the dream and vision of a dedicated team of train enthusiast, model railroaders and web developers. The results are what we believe is one of the most up to date, user friendly e-commerce websites around. We hope you agree. Our future looks bright. Our goal is to double our inventory during the course of 2006, and double it again in 2007. We plan on offering over 140,000 different model railroad products online by the end of 2006.
