Description

Intersymbol Communications, Inc. was founded in October 2000 by Prof. Andrew Singer and Prof. Naresh Shanbhag from the highly ranked Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Intersymbol was the first company to introduce high-speed DSP technology, including adaptive MLSE-based equalization to the 10Gb/s optical communications industry. Recently acquired by Kodeos Communications, Intersymbol continues to develop advanced digital-signal-processing enhanced IC's for next-generation optical communications systems.
