Description

Following a logging accident in southeast King county, Dr. Chinn was referred to a chiropractor for correction of his injury. His personal experience with chiropractic helped his body heal and he was able to return to work much sooner than anyone would have expected. He found his way to Life University in Atlanta, Georgia where he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1986.During his course of study, Dr. Chinn was the recipient of the prestigious Gonstead scholarship. He became active in student government and in the Chi Rho professional fraternity. As a senior intern in the college public clinics, he supervised fellow clinicians in their work and also held a supervisory role in the clinic X-ray facility. He is currently serving on the board of directors of the Gonstead Clinical Studies Society (GCSS).Dr. Chinn is one of 3 Gonstead Diplomates in the State of Washington, a title earned through post-graduate certification. Completion of an annual peer review is necessary to maintain Diplomate status. Dr. Chinn is also a continuing education instructor with Life West Chiropractic College in California, teaching other doctors and students the Gonstead technique of adjusting and analysis of the spine. Dr. Chinn is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, an organization dedicated to the research and development of chiropractic care for children. Dr. Chinn is also skilled in cranial adjusting, helping young people and older alike with challenges associated with ADHD, ADD, autism, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, severe headaches and many other disorders. Dr. Chinn is continuing to study with Dr. Roger Turner in Toronto, Canada to further explore this area of adjusting.
