Mr. Monroe has been with the Firm since 1986 and has published more than 50 articles on various aspects of investing in health care and long-term care businesses. He is the senior editor of The SeniorCare Investor, The Health Care M&A Monthly, The Health Care M&A Report, Healthcare Corporate Finance News and several annual acquisition reports. He is often a speaker at conferences for national organizations, including the National Investment Center. Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Monroe was a vice president of investment banking at Kidder, Peabody & Co. in New York City. Meredith is a partner and publisher at the Firm. As publisher, she oversees the strategic direction of the Firm and many aspects of the marketing of publications and online databases. Prior to 1998, she was in charge of the valuation and consulting practice that provided financial advisory services to many of the nation’s largest health care systems. Prior to joining Levin in 1986, Ms. Meredith served as vice president in the Health Care Group of PaineWebber, and has also been associated with Dillon, Read and Co. and The Chase Manhattan Bank. In addition to being a licensed principal of the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD), she is a member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI). She also holds real estate and appraisal licenses in several states. A graduate of Georgetown University, Ms. Meredith holds an MBA in finance from Columbia University.
