A t Isaacson & Raymond we are highly skilled and experienced in estate planning. The four attorneys who practice in this field have over 115 years of collective experience in this specialty. This experience includes extensive litigation experience as it relates to probate matters. Attorney Raymond served as Androscoggin County Probate Judge from 1965 to 1998. We will help you prepare wills and trusts, and advise you with respect to successful planning for businesses and family, and advise you as to gift and estate tax planning.

A native of Lewiston and shareholder of the firm since 1989. Mr. Bissonnette’s practice includes real estate (acquisition and leasing), commercial, corporate and business law, wills and estate planning. He has extensive experience in handling like kind exchanges under Internal Revenue Code Section 1031. He frequently teaches at real estate seminars for lawyers and others sponsored by the Maine State Bar Association and the National Business Institute. In 2012 he was elected a Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers.

I saacson & Raymond serves businesses and individuals who are creditors, including secured lenders and those who are creditors in chapter 7, chapter 11, and chapter 13 bankruptcy proceedings. Our services include litigation to enforce promissory notes, mortgages, security agreements, and other contracts for payment, including the foreclosure of residential and commercial mortgages. In the bankruptcy context, our clients include lenders holding mortgages and other security interests, as well as judgment creditors and lienholders.

Our construction attorneys combine legal skills with knowledge of the construction industry to deliver cost-effective results. Their legal skills have been honed by years of experience in advising construction clients and managing construction disputes. Their work with industry trade associations and construction experts keeps them on top of developments in the construction industry.
