The SIG ‘Research Methodology Training’ was founded in May 2010 and has the overall aim to provide a platform for those ISCMR members who already provide or plan to develop research methodology courses.
Events This modules teaches the following subjects: Evidence-based medicine and the Cochrane Collaboration The Cochrane CAM Fields, and the Cochrane CAM reviews evidence base Overview of the steps in conducting a Cochrane-style systematic review Basics of meta-analysis: extracting and entering data and interpreting the results Specific methodological issues in conducting systematic reviews on CAM therapies.
ISCMR co-organizes research methodology trainings. The aim is to provide a platform for high quality research methodology training run by different highly experienced experts. The ISCMR Research Methodology Training for Complementary and Integrative Medicine consists of different modules and offers high quality hands-on research methodology training.
