Isis Financial Systems was formed in 2001 soon after Standard & Poor's spun off its portfolio management software business. That business was marketing and supporting a portfolio management and accounting solution that provided mission critical services to many large, prestigious financial institutions. But, those clients needed a better solution. Isis Financial Systems sought to better serve these clients and expand its customer base.
