Island Air Charters, Inc. was founded in 1986. Since that time it has flown thousands of persons each year to and from the Bahamas. Island Air Charters currently operates four Britten Norman Islanders and is in the process of adding a Piper Aztec and a Cessna Caravan Cargomaster to the fleet. Our experienced staff is very knowledgeable of requirements that are associated with international travel. As Homeland Security and Bahamian Customs and Immigration are changing policy regularly, you can count on the Island Air Charters staff to keep you informed to insure hassle-free international travel.The Island Air Charters travel counter is located at the Ft. Lauderdale Jet Center at the Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport. U.S. Customs and Aviator's Restaurant are located only a few steps from the travel counter.
