Island Energy is a publicly owned utility company that provides electricity and natural gas services at Mare Island, City of Vallejo. Established and commenced operation in April 1997, Island Energy consists of one Manager, one Office Manager, one Field Supervisor, two Gas Technicians and three Electrical Technicians. While Island Energy is rather small compared to traditional investor owned utilities, our staff is available to work at a personal level to meet the needs of any customers, from residential to that of large commercial applicants.

It is the goal of Island Energy to provide reliable and safe natural gas service to our customers. It is our responsibility to ensure the safety of the people residing and/or working near our natural gas facilities.

Island Energy is committed to providing responsive customer service and reliable utility services at competitive prices to its customers throughout its service area.
