Daniel Marr & Son began steel erection on the Boston Medical Center in June for William A. Berry. Nearly 20,000 direct manhours have been worked on the project without a single recordable injury. The Marr Companies, established in 1898, celebrated 110 years in 2008. Comprised of five distinct entities, the Marr Companies provide steel and precast erection services, scaffolding, specialized shoring and forming, concrete accessories and safety products, cranes and construction elevators, rigging services, aerial lift equipment and bleachers and special event seating. ###
