Description

J-CRAFT is a regional manufacturer of, and a service center/distributor of truck equipment and accessories serving the Construction, Lumber, Asphalt, Contractor, Landscaping, Municipal, & Agricultural markets. The Sales department works direct with the end-user, truck dealerships, lease & fleet companies, as well as direct with OEM truck manufacturers. J-CRAFT products are constructed with a variety of materials, from basic Carbon steels, to Ultra High strength steels,Aluminum, Plastics, and Stainless Steel. The engineering department utilizes integrated CAD software programs, and most parts are processed through a variety of CNC controlled machines. The assembly areas feature a variety of fixtures and over-head welder-feeders that await arrival of the piece parts, where welding personnel begin the process of creating the final product. Robotic Welders are kept busy with high volume, repetative weldments and products. Prior to installation (of most products), they are media blasted in our modern paint facility, then primed & painted in one of 2 down-draft paint booths. Stainless and Aluminum products are generally left in Mill Finish. The Installation technicians work in teams, utilizing 14 service bays, equipped with over-head Cranes, Flux-Core welders, Torches, Plasma Cutters, Compressed Air service, along with other misc tools and machines. A centrally located Parts Department adds to the efficient processing of each and every installation. J-CRAFT employees work in well lighted, ventilated environments, and are recipients of many benefits including: 8 paid holidays, vacation time, 401K plan, health & disability insurance options, along with rewards for practicing safety and participating in a gain share program. The J-CRAFT brand had it's beginnings in 1978 - - originated by Eugene and Roxanne Dick as a company with a mere 6 employees. The main focus of business at that time was related to the 'job-shop' type of fabrication and welding work. This type of work often included items related to trailers and the trucking market. With the growing necessity for a durable steel grain body in the farm/agriculture market, J-CRAFT quickly established itself as a leading producer (& installer) of grain bodies throughout Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Michigan.
