J3S provides solutions to program managers, range operators, and training commands by providing high quality instrumentation in a well understood geolocation environment. The J3S systems developed for ocean ranges are based on GPS located buoys including the patented TARPON buoy which provides a robust platform for sensors. The TARPON is an autonomous, self navigating buoy that can transit to commanded locations, keep station, and collect and transmit data for processing.
