JG Johnson Architects, PC (JGJA) is a Denver-based architectural firm specializing in hospitality and housing. The firm was founded in 1993 by principal James G. Johnson, AIA, NCARB, and has grown to twenty-one professionals.Over the past twelve years JGJA has worked on a variety of award-winning projects including, Bradburn Row, Denver Hotel Monaco, Indian Tree Golf Course Clubhouse in Arvada, and the firm's own AIA award-winning studio in the historic Equitable building in downtown Denver.Currently, JGJA is working on the entitlement and design of over 1,600 multifamily units in Colorado, Arizona, and Missouri. These include projects for clients Trammell Crow Residential, Carmel Companies, Urban Neighborhoods (Dana Crawford), Trammell Crow Companies, MacKenzie House, Century Real Estate Services, and McStain Neighborhoods. Most of these projects are new-urbanist or urban-infill in nature.
