Description

The cryogenic treatment that our Supermatch ™ barrels undergo is a day-long process using liquid nitrogen to slowly lower the barrel's temperature to -300° F, after which it is then heated to approx. +300° F. This treatment yields three major benefits, namely: cold bore shot predictability, minimum thermal drift and vastly superior barrel life. No other major manufacturer invests this expense and added effort into every barrel, but years of experience have shown it to be worthwhile. It is not uncommon for us to hear feedback about our .223 barrels going tens of thousands of rounds and still retaining MOA or better accuracy.

This page is dedicated to letting you know about all the professional level shooters that use JP rifles and components. These shooters represent top level in their pursuits, whether that is competitive shooting, training or military/law enforcement professions.

My first gun was the requisite Daisy Red Ryder with one of my mother's old belts as a sling. I've long since worn it out but I still have it. I guess some people just never grow up. Now I've been shooting in competitions of one sort or another for nearly 40 years and my products and services are the direct result of that experience. I'm sure you've seen all sorts of firearms products that do not perform as expected, primarily because many are designed by people who are desk jockeys, not real shooters. I put on thousands of miles every year traveling to national level competitions, actually putting our products to the test. I am constantly trying to improve our existing products and services and create innovative new ideas to fill the needs of serious and recreational shooters.

I also have a rather old fashioned idea about "customer satisfaction." You'll notice that we don't have any fancy fine print guarantees with our products. My policy is simple: if you're not happy, I'm not happy. I only guarantee one thing, your satisfaction. Ask one of our customers. They're our best salespeople.

The complete absence of take up and over-travel and incredibly short reset, makes this fire control system the best possible compromise between precision and speed for action or tactical rifle competition. Again, this system is the choice of many professional shooters—Bennie Cooley, Bruce Piatt, Tony Holmes, Don Bednorz, Taran Butler, Kyle Lamb, Tom Carpenter, Don Golembesky, Kurt Miller, and many other pro level shooters compete with JP rifles or rifles equipped with a JP Fire Control System. Many well-known custom gunsmiths recommend JP components. Six other major manufacturers of these rifles use JP components in their fire control groups. What more can we say? The original JP Fire Control System has become the benchmark of single stage triggers.
