J-2 Contracting Company is a general contractor and construction materials recycler with a focus on civil construction for the public and commercial sectors. We provide value through strong project management and diversification in scope, with the experience and capabilities to perform a wide range of civil disciplines including: demolition, on-site concrete and asphalt recycling, contract mining and aggregate processing, grading and earthwork, commercial excavation, water and sewer trunk-lines, mains and services, storm water and flood control systems, street and road construction, water distribution systems and pump stations. We have been in business since 1976. Our office, shop, and recycling yard are located at 450 East 16th Street in Greeley, Company We are a member of the Colorado Contractors Association, The Construction Materials Recycling Association, and are signatory to the Union of Operating Engineers, Local 9. We maintain a strong balance sheet and are currently operating under a $2.5M+ Single / $5M Aggregate bonding program with First National Insurance Company of America, an .A. rated surety. We have wide ranging experience in both size and scope of project, with contract values from $5K to $3.3M. Our previous contracts cover nearly all civil construction disciplines. We differentiate ourselves by focusing on and successfully managing projects that are highly complex and diverse in scope. We have never failed to complete a project that we were awarded.
