Chris began his professional development with the firm in August of 2007. Before then, he spent most of his life in Michigan and attended both Michigan State University and Grand Valley State University, where he earned his Master of Science in Accounting. While earning his Master's Degree, he managed a restaurant, which taught him valuable experience in the dynamics of the small business. Chris received his CPA designation in January of 2009. So far his professional interests are in the area of taxation. He has begun working towards a Master's in Taxation at Golden Gate University in Seattle, WA. Chris actively plays guitar and has multiple guitars and old fashioned amplifiers. Before he moved to the Pacific Northwest, he was an active member of several rock bands in which he was also the singer. He is in the process of forming a similar act here in his new home. His other greatest interest is baseball, and he is an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox. Sharlene has been practicing public accounting with Jackson, Morgan & Hunt, PLLC since 2005 after working in accounting for twelve years at Starbucks Coffee Company, primarily as a Senior Accountant. Her knowledge of QuickBooks, payroll and business tax reporting, and individual and small business tax preparation helps clients achieve success in their business and personal lives. Sharlene is a licensed CPA in the State of Washington, and a QuickBooks ProAdvisor. She is a graduate of Central Washington University, with a B.S. in Accounting. She and her family are long-time residents of West Seattle.
