Description

Todd serves as Senior Landscape Architect/Project Manager and has over 15 years professional design experience. Todd is responsible for a number of the firm’s transportation-related projects, including roadway enhancement efforts, greenway trails and streetscape projects. In addition to being a Landscape Architect, Todd is also a Certified Arborist, allowing him to assume leadership roles in the development of tree preservation and replacements plans.

The Historic American Landscape Survey (HALS) is the first federal program to focus on cultural landscape documentation. With the creation of this program, guidelines were needed to provide advice on how best to capture a significant landscape setting. Once documented, the historic landscape records from a selected site are submitted to the United States Library of Congress as the repository for this permanent collection.

The Historic Hawkinsville High School is a building that has evolved to meet the changing needs of the county school system since the late nineteenth century. This landmark building has been owned and utilized by the Pulaski County Board of Education since the 1940s. The county school system obtained the services of JMA Architecture, as project architects of Perry, Georgia, who retained The Jaeger Company (TJC) of Gainesville, Georgia, for preservation planning and architectural history services.

Dale Jaeger has over 30 years of experience in the design and planning of landscape architecture and preservation projects and is well-versed in multi-disciplinary team management. Since establishing The Jaeger Company in 1984, Dale has served as the firm’s Principal Landscape Architect and Preservation Planner, assisting with a number of cultural landscape projects, downtown and roadway streetscapes and enhancement plans, pedestrian/bikeway trails and greenways, and environmental studies.

The Jaeger Company completed a Cultural Landscape Report and a Cultural Landscape Inventory for Kingsley Plantation to provide an assessment of character-defining features of the cultural landscape and to develop specific treatment recommendations to ensure the preservation of this nationally significant resource. Kingsley Plantation is a sixty-acre National Park Service site located within the much larger Timucuan Ecological and Historic Preserve in northern Florida near Jacksonville.
