Description

The Garvey family business traces its origins to agriculture in the early part of the 20th century in Kansas. R.H. Garvey built an integrated grain and ranching agribusiness across the Great Plains. James Garvey, one of the founder’s four children, moved to Fort Worth in 1959 to manage and build a portion of the family’s business which included grain elevators, ranching, insurance, real estate and oil and gas exploration and production.
