What the heck is the #350 for? Well, I'm glad you asked, so let me tell you. Way back in 1965 I joined an elite organization called the JIM SMITH SOCIETY. In order to join, your first name must be James and your last name must be Smith. The middle name is immaterial. They sent me a wooden nickel and gave me a number. It happened to be #350. That means I was the 350th person to join the organization. I understand they now have over 4,000 members. They convene in the New York area annually. I've not attended any of the conventions yet and plan to. Imagine 4,000 Jim Smith's registering at hotels in and around New York and it's really their name. This is why they register by their number too. Wouldn't you? Why Use and e-PRO So what does Jim Smith #350 do? Another good question. Here's a little information about me. I obtained my Real Estate Salesman license in San Jose, California in October 1964. I started working for Hogstrom Realty to complete my sales training apprenticeship and after the required minimum of four years I obtained my Real Estate Broker License. I then opened and operated a general residential real estate Brokerage office through 1971. I studied and passed the requirements for my Graduate of the Realtors Institute (GRI) certificate in 1975. I decided to specialize in real estate investment exchanging and commenced studying Real Estate Investment Counseling and Creative Exchanging through the Richard R. Reno Educational Foundation. This was an intensive two year course of study in Real Estate Investments and Creative Real Property Exchange techniques. Upon opening my office of Creative Real Estate Investments in The Pruneyard Towers building in Campbell, California, I specialized in Real Estate Investment Counseling and Tax Planning through Creative property exchanging.
