Description

I am the youngest son of David William Kempker Sr., a well-respected developer/general contractor in and around the Lake of the Ozarks area for over 30 years. My father is a Master Carpenter with 40 years of experience, his father (my grandfather) was a Master Mason for decades, and numerous other family members are self-employed tradesmen.

During summer breaks, a year after graduation, and part-time for a decade, I worked for my father's construction company as a labor/carpenter. I went to work for an Architectural and Engineering Firm as a Draftsman at the age of 19. There I worked for over 10 years and left as a Designer / Project Manager. I was also involved with overall office management. Those years working directly with a multi-dissaplined engineer gave me the knowledge and understanding in design which I possess today and taught me the value of planning.
