Jan Baker, company founder, has a teaching and human resource management background; she earned her Masters in Teaching from Emory University, was a STAR Teacher in the Atlanta Public Schools and a Volunteer Instructor of the Year for Central Oregon Community College. Jan holds certifications in the Art of Facilitation and Total Quality Management and is a certified administrator of PREP™ Personal Strengths Profile System. Jan is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and the Human Resource Association of Central Oregon. She has been honored with The Governor's Volunteerism Award and named as Central Oregon Business Builders' Outstanding Team Player as well as the 2003 Central Oregon Human Resource Professional of the Year. Committed to her community, Jan facilitated the Bend 2030 Vision Task Force, a community group that developed and will steward the city's community vision for the year 2030. Jan's areas of expertise and special interest include facilitation, conflict management, personality style based team development, and leadership skills development.
