JanWay Company is a family owned and operated business that was established in 1981 in Cogan Station, Pennsylvania by the husband and wife team of Janice and Wayne Stebbins. Initially the emphasis of the business was books and library supplies much like the large library supply companies. As libraries began to increase their self promotion and fundraising efforts, it became clear that a source for these products that would understand and cater to the special and specific needs of libraries while providing competitive prices was needed. JanWay has become that company.For example, a business card magnet becomes a library hour magnet. A canvas tote bag becomes a custom printed book bag that the Friends use for fundraising.By listening to the needs of librarians, we have compiled a catalog with items that are most popular for libraries. We have items for fundraising, promotion, gifts, summer reading programs (See inside back cover for additional information) and more. We have developed a variety of cooperative ordering programs which allow libraries to pool their buying power to achieve significant savings on their promotional items. JanWay has also developed several products to meet the needs of libraries. Our most popular proprietary product is the Hanging Media Pouch™ which is a durable alternative to the plastic hanging media bag.
