Description
Fred Hughes, business partner of Andy Warhol, met Jean Kallina though artist Julian Schnabel in 1988. Hughes, a great admirer of Jean's work, commissioned her to photograph the home he shared with Warhol in Paris. Jean created an extraordinary 20 x 16 inch portfolio of the images that she took for Hughes. These photos, well received worldwide, were pruchased by the Brooklyn Museum, and have been published in books and magazines in the US and abroad. This project has led to many commissions of beautiful and historically significant homes and estates all over the US, including South Hampton, NY Greenwich, Connecticut and Bucks County Pennsylvania. Jean's latest commission was a building that Julian Schnabel renovated in the West Village called Piazza Chupi.
