Five Decades of Community Service The Jenkins Living Center organization has been a fixture in Watertown for the past 55 years, offering long term care services to the people in our community and the surrounding area. Over the years, our mission has stayed constant: To provide long term health care services that meet the needs of those we serve. As the diversity of needs changed, Jenkins began adding services to meet those needs.

Jenkins Living Center, Inc.- located in Watertown, SD – employs more than 200 dedicated and caring individuals whose mission in to provide compassionate, personalized care and services to the nearly 300 people served daily by the Jenkins’ organization.

Employment at Jenkins Living Center Jenkins Living Center, Inc. employs more than 250 dedicated and caring individuals whose mission in to provide compassionate, personalized care and services to the hundreds of people served daily by the Jenkins' organization. We believe that our caring employees are our greatest asset as we strive to meet our mission of "offering housing, health care, and rehabilitation services that provide a high quality of life to the people we serve." As a skilled nursing facility, nursing and nurse assistant positions are frequently available.

Jenkins Living Center understands how important dining and nutrition are to the elderly; therefore, Jenkins Living Center prides itself on employing a Registered Dietitian, two Certified Dietary Managers and several dietary staff. The staff prides themselves on preparing and providing three deliciously balanced meals, served in one of the beautifully decorated dining rooms. Residents are able to make selections according to their personal preference. As needed, therapeutic diets are prepared according to physician’s prescribed orders.
