George & Martha Jiggetts began with a dream, one taxi, and a home phone. The meter turned on at 5 cents, and since we had Checker taxis (with booster seats) everyone in the family could go. The Checker taxis are long gone, but George & Martha Jiggetts are still serving the residents of Paterson. The school buses, another part of their dream, are 54 passengers and are used to transport Paterson's students to and from school, field trips, away sports activities, day-care trips, Saturday practices and programs, church youth groups. We are proud to be a part of Paterson's history, as a contractor for The Paterson Public Schools system for over fifty years. The Coaches, the ultimate part of their dream realized, are 49 passengers, lavaratory-equipped, CD/DVD, air-conditioned, over the road cruisers. Family Reunions, College Tours, Day Trips, Churches visiting Churches, and when called on "Going Home" to put our elders to rest. It is a means of travel that is safe and relaxed with peace of mind because you are traveling with family and/or friends. Jiggetts Transportation Service, Incorporated has the proudest drivers, because the buses they drive are assigned to them, so they are kept as if they are their own. They have demonstrated safe-driving skills, courteousness, professionalism, and the desire to satisfy the past and new clients of Jiggetts Transportation Service, Inc.
