JIMAR Resources Corporation was founded in 1993 by Jim and Mary Ruth Perkins. Jim saw an opportunity to take his 30 years of land experience with both large and mid-size companies along with the contacts made during his tenure as AAPL President to form an independent land services company. During the first year their son Matthew Perkins joined the company and staffed an office in Denver, CO. Shortly thereafter, a cadre of experienced Landmen joined the team; Keith Michael, Jerry Rupp, Bob and Jan Schuh, Jack Walker, Justin Neeley. Several of these landmen are still a vital part of JIMAR.
