Jimtex Yarns was founded in 1998 by the Martex Fiber Southern Corporation, a leader in the field of textile waste recycling.Not long after inception, Jimtex Yarns were discovered by prominent apparel manufacturers and contract knitters. Designers realized that the yarns look good... feel good... and knit extremely well. Not to mention, the price is lower than almost all dyed yarns on the market.Jimtex Yarns are predominantly 74% Cotton / 24% Acrylic / 2% other fiber in 8 and 12 cotton counts. Other cotton counts 6-12 are possible with custom programs and yarns can be made with polyester. Jimtex offers solids, bleached and heathered yarns in over 50 colors. The colors include tonals, brights, and tweed looks with the plying ability to make combinations suitable for men's, women's and children's apparel.
