I have been photographing as long as I can remember, even back in elementary school. I photographed my first wedding in September, 1971. Besides weddings, I also create portraits of all kinds, do fashion photography, and do commercial and stock photography. Most of my photography involves photographing people, especially women. I enjoy variety and challenges in my work as well as solving problems for my clients. I have enjoyed working in digital photography since 1990, and nearly all of my work is done digitally today except for a few fine art applications which require film. I volunteered to serve as the photographer for the Occidental Volunteer Fire Department as well being a volunteer firefighter. I write the "Occidental Column" for the Russian River Monthly as well as the "Occidental News" for the weekly Bodega Bay Navigator. I enjoy keeping busy and having variety. My wide range of experience and interests helps keep me fresh and provides many creative ideas which I use in my photography.My work has been featured in many magazines and newsletters and French television flew to the United States to do a program on my boudoir photography. I have been in charge of the technical production of "Your Neighborhood Network", a weekly 3-hour cable television network in Southern California. I also speak at local schools, businesses, and professional photography organizations throughout California. My work is displayed throughout the country at businesses and major photographic trade shows.I create my own hand-colored black and white art and other fine art pieces for your wedding album.
