For over 15 years, we have provided training, implementation, and ongoing support for our business clients who use QuickBooks or Enterprise solutions to manage their business.

Jonathan W. Kaplow, P.C. Certified Public Accountant is a local CPA firm located in Houston's Galleria area. We specialize in working with businesses that use Quickbooks Software or Enterprise Solutions.

Jonathan holds a B.S. Degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University (1979) and an MBA in Accounting and Finance from the University of Michigan (1984). He is a CPA licensed to practice in Texas and is an Advanced Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. In 1993, Jonathan opened his own CPA firm in Houston. Prior to that he served as Controller for a publicly-held company in Houston and as a Subsidiary Controller for American Airlines in Dallas. Jonathan has extensive experience working with small and medium-sized businesses that use QuickBooks software. Jonathan also has in-depth experience preparing tax returns for corporations, partnerships and individuals.

We also provide all the other services that you expect from an established CPA firm. Our tax preparation services include preparing federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses in multiple states. Our accounting services include bookkeeping, payroll tax return preparation and reports on financial statements including audits, reviews and compilations. We also provide tax planning and business consulting services.

Karen received a degree from the University of Texas in Austin. She became a CPA licensed to practice in Texas in 1977. After working for a regional firm in Houston, Texas for 5 years, Karen opened a public accounting practice in San Antonio. The firm grew to include 4 partners and practiced under the name of Gibbons, Vogel & Co. Karen was a tax partner in the firm and has extensive experience in real estate development, construction, not for profit organizations, and tax planning for individuals and small businesses. Karen joined Jonathan W. Kaplow, P.C. Certified Public Accountant in January, 2008, after she moved back to Houston, Texas with her family.
