The Hayes Pain Management Center offers a very unique service to its patients. Dr. Joseph T. Hayes is the Medical Director. He ensures that each patient is given ample time to be properly evaluated and treated with dignity. No question is too trivial. He answers all your questions. Treatments are non-invasive, painless, and often without drugs. Dr. Hayes is qualified to employ modern, non-interventional pain management services as well as traditional Oriental acupuncture techniques that have been shown for centuries to be very affective. Many of the patients who have success at the Hayes Pain Management Center have either had unsuccessful surgery, are not surgical candidates, or have been through a number of other therapies including epidural injections, facet joint blocks, nerve ablations, etc. Dr. Hayes is the Medical Director of the Hayes Pain Management Center located at the Montgomery Hospital Medical Center Professional Building in Norristown. He also has an office in Holland, Pennsylvania, to serve Bucks County. He is a licensed, residency trained, Board Certified physician with over twenty five years experience in pain management. He trained in acupuncture at the Helms Institute at UCLA Medical School and is a fully licensed physician and acupuncturist in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He also holds a Masters of Public Health from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Dr. Hayes is very compassionate and understanding of his patients. Many of his patients have seen other physicians but have failed to find a method to successfully deal with their chronic pain. As a public health physician, Dr. Hayes knows that chronic pain is the number one reason why patients see doctors. He also recognizes that surgery and invasive procedures often fail to produce an end to chronic pain.
