The California Framing Contractors Association (CFCA) is a non-profit organization committed to improving the home and commercial framing industry by providing our members with educational resources in safety and employment compliance. We provide our member companies with state-of-the-art training materials, advocacy on California legislation and regulations that affect the industry.

A stacker crane is a crane with a forklift type mechanism used in automated (computer controlled) warehouses (known as an automated storage and retrieval system (AS/RS)). The crane moves on a track in an aisle of the warehouse. The fork can be raised or lowered to any of the levels of a storage rack and can be extended into the rack to store and retrieve product. The product can in some cases be as large as an automobile. Stacker cranes are often used in the large freezer warehouses of frozen food manufacturers. Our program consists of classroom lecture and hands-on practical evaluations.

The purpose of this training is to provide employees who occasionally work around trenches. This course is intended to provide an introduction to trench safety and the benefits of using trench protective systems.
