Description

Margo Julius graduated from the University of South Dakota with a BS degree majoring in Criminal Justice Studies in 1988. She recieved her JD from the University of South Dakota School of Law in 1991. Margo began her law practice as a law clerk for the Federal District Court, Western Division, before entering private practice in 1993. Since 1993, Margo has represented primarily injured people in workers' compensation, personal injury, and Social Security Disability cases. She has handled cases before the Social Security Administration, South Dakota Department of Labor, State Circuit Courts, the South Dakota Supreme Court, United States District Court, Western Division, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. Margo is a member of the State Bar of South Dakota, the American Trial Lawyers Association, the Workers Injury Law & Advocacy Group (WILG), and the South Dakota Trial Lawyers Association, where she served two terms on the Board of Governors from 1999 to 2003. She currently serves on the Disciplinary Board for the State Bar of South Dakota. Margo and her husband John have three children. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Zonta Club of the Black Hills (since 1995) and Youth and Family Services (since 1996).
