Beth’s Girls was founded in honor of Elizabeth Bowers, a Peace Corps volunteer in Zambia. This organization recognizes that by educating girls you help them take control of their lives and improve the lives of entire villages. In a few years EBZEF has grown to support the education of 83 girls in the Lumwana West village in Zambia as well as building and stocking a local library and educating a young woman who will serve as librarian. We are proud to have supplied, at cost, the shirts for ‘Beth’s Girls’ in Zambia(see photo on this page) as well as for local fundraisers.
