The Junior State of America engages high school students in the political issues that challenge our nation. Students develop effective leadership skills by running political awareness activities at school and overnight conventions like the Congress Convention.The Junior Statesmen Summer School offers a challenging, dynamic academic experience for students with a passion for politics and government. Each summer, 1500 outstanding high school students converge on the campuses of Stanford, Yale, Princeton, Georgetown, and Northwestern Universities to immerse themselves in politics and debate. For 65 years, The Junior Statesmen Foundation has prepared outstanding student leaders.
