Just Energy was founded in April 2002 by 5 people from Texas who believed a retail energy company could be different. They wanted to build an energy company that cared about customers - a company with a passion to serve customers through simple, easy to understand products that saved money. Their products and services would clear up the confusion and clear away the hassle of deregulation. Their company would be focused: providing small and medium sized businesses and residences with electricity supply at low prices with outstanding customer service. And most importantly, their company would make commitments to customers that would be kept – no matter what happened in the marketplace.
