Our company manufactures and sells hi-tech devices that require a high level of expertise and competencies from our staff. The company was founded in 1997 by Dr. Marc Le Flohic, initially under the name of OptoCom Innovation. The first product developed in 1998 was a pulsed fiber laser at 1550nm dedicated to Obstacle Warning System. The company diversified very early on and proposed fiber lasers and high power amplifiers at 1.0 and 1.5 µm for defense, telecom and scientific application. In 2000, the company had grown from a single man operation to a company employing 20 people.
Our company specializes in devices for generation of high average power and high peak power pulses. Products are optimized for specific applications using an integrated approach combining optimum choice of doped fiber, pumping method, amplifier architecture and sub-components, diode pump laser type and wavelength, and electro-mechanical configuration. Several proprietary methods are used to achieve state of the art performance in terms of peak power, electrical efficiency, size and weight.
