Roberta founded Roberta Klar Architects, Inc. in 1992, working on both residential and commercial projects. The following year, Steven L. Klar joined her and the firm evolved into Klar and Klar Architects. From 1985 until founding her own firm, she held professional positions at several architectural firms in the Tampa Bay area. As Principal Architect, Roberta concentrates on design and project management. In addition, she handles the day-to-day project and business affairs of the firm.Roberta is a 1985 graduate of the University of Minnesota and holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree. Since 1998, she has been an Adjunct Instructor at St. Petersburg Junior College, in the Architecture Department.Steve co-founded Klar and Klar Architects with Roberta S. Klar in 1993. From 1983 until joining Roberta and founding Klar and Klar Architects, he held professional positions at architectural firms in the Tampa Bay area. As Principal Architect, Steve concentrates on marketing, design and construction administration of commercial related projects.
