Description

Ken works with a number of artistic disciplines, such as: illustration, painting, sculpting, doll making and writing. He feels he cannot fully express his many faceted vision in just one artistic discipline. His particular style of work is traditionally called "Surrealism" but he prefers "statement orientated art". His unique vision covers areas such as: spiritual, social, psychological and environmental issues. As Ken himself puts it "I like to make people think". Ken's primary goal is the continual quest for artistic excellence and creative expression. He feels that being an artist is not an end result but a continual journey of learning, experiencing and expressing. As Ken puts it himself "being an artist is not just a job or career, it is a way of life. Kenneth Schwartz, born February 13, 1962 in North Miami Beach Florida. Ken's art education was little; regular grade school art and a commercial art course for six months. In his 20s Ken developed a passion for studying philosophy, psychology, science, and spiritual material, which he incorporated into his art and can clearly be seen in his visionary concepts.
