The firm has prepared more than seventy-five (75) Comprehensive Plans or Master Plans throughout Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina and Maryland ranging in size from neighborhoods to three county regions. Comprehensive plans have been completed for the historic Towns of Abingdon, Smithfield and Urbanna; mid-size towns such as Vinton, Windsor, and Tazewell; mid-size Cities including Petersburg and South Boston, Virginia; new town designs in Florida and Maryland; Land Use Development Plans for the Elko Tract, Fort Pickett and St. Paul NDP; the Skiff's Creek Land Use Plan in James City County, Virginia; and growth management plans for Spotsylvania County and eastern Goochland County; the latter to accommodate a $5 billion Motorola plant. In addition, the firm completed revisions to the Colonial Heights and Petersburg Zoning Ordinances and new ordinances in Southwest Virginia Counties. Particular attention has been paid to regulations for the Chesapeake Bay Preservation Act in the more eastern jurisdictions.
