Description

Essential oils, attars, absolutes, and concretes are all created by extracting the volatile oils from a material. These are also called aromatic oils. That is why treatment using essential oils is called aromatherapy. There are various methods of oil production, such as steam distillation, CO2 extraction, and enfleurage just to mention a few. At Kamala's Own&trade, we have used the same three major suppliers for for the majority of our oils for over 20 years. Each of these suppliers has intimate contact with the growers and distillers; each takes the greatest care to insure a high-quality product. Oils come in up to five sizes, only three of which are listed on this page because of space constraints. The dram and 10mL bottles come open topped but include an orifice reducer you may insert if you wish.

For over 27 years now, I have tried to bring you the highest quality oils, incense, and personal care products I can produce while still keeping them as affordable as possible. As many of our customers are into spiritual practices, we have decided to offer a package of aromatherapy oils designed to assist with basic skills.--SANCTUS: Sanctus is an oil of purification. Charge the oil with your intent and apply a few drops on tools, altars, or the space in which you will be working. Sanctus can be diluted with a pure vegetable oil to make it go farther.--PROTECTION: Protection is designed to protect one from general feelings of threat from outside sources. Charge the oil with your intent and apply to items which need to be protected, such as doorways for a space or clothing for a person.--MEDITATION: Meditation contains oils, such as sandalwood and myrrh, that are supposed to assist with mental activity. It helps calm and center the mind while improving concentration. Charge the oil with your intent and apply to the third eye (the forehead chakra). It could also be diffused during work. The best method for this would be to oil a candle that will burn the desired length of meditation time.--FOCUS: Focus is an oil to assist one in defining intent of a prayer.
