Northwest Security, Incorporated began in 1990 when Daniel L. Kirby purchased Northwest Corporate Protection based in Wheaton, Illinois. Mr. Kirby soon changed the name to Northwest Security, Incorporated and operated from his Wheaton headquarters until 2001. In 2001, Jeffrey H. James joined Northwest Security, Incorporated as Senior Vice President. At that time, Mr. James owned Five Star Detective Agency, Incorporated and together they were able to provide both Security & Investigative services to their clients. In 2002, the two men jointly created Northwest Metro Security, Inc., thereby, in conjunction with the existing companies, fulfilling the concept of complete security and protective services now known as K A R D Protection Group, Incorporated Today, K A R D Protection Group, Incorporated provides both armed and un-armed security officers as well as a full range of investigative services to their clients.
