A trigger is the minimum depth of snow that we will provide service. Most of our customers have a one inch trigger. Some have zero inch trigger – also known as zero tolerance. This means that if we get one inch of snow of more we will start plowing. However, if there is supposed to be four inches of snow we will typically wait until the four inches has fallen to start plowing.
