Elliot J. Katz, CPA Elliot is one of the founding members of the firm and has over 40 years experience working with privately held companies, real estate entities, professional practices and high net worth individuals in the areas of tax planning, estate planning, tax compliance, and accounting and financial reporting. Elliot graduated from New York University with a Bachelor of Science degree specializing in Accounting. After spending five years with a large regional firm, he began to develop an accounting and tax practice, that in 1995, became Katz & Bloom, CPAs, LLC.
Richard M. Schon, CPA, MST Rick has over 25 years of diverse experience in public accounting specializing in the areas of real estate development, manufacturing and closely held businesses with an emphasis on taxation, estate planning and wealth preservation. Rick also has handled matters regarding international taxation. Rick has served on the State and Local Tax Committee as well as the Closely Held & S Corporation Committee of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, of which he is a member. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
