Keegin Harrison Schoppert Smith & Karner LLP has served the San Francisco Bay Area for more than 45 years. Our first offices were in the historic Albert Building at 4th and B Streets in San Rafael. In 1971, the firm moved one block east to our present location at 1000 4th Street, the site of the old Marin County Courthouse. Since inception, the firm has been known for our real estate and commercial litigation practice, representing individuals, businesses and non - profit entities at the trial and appellate levels of California and federal courts.

Stafford Keegin was legal counsel to the former Frank Howard Allen (FHA), the second largest residential real estate brokerage in the North Bay, during its acquisition by NRT LLC. FHA's 17 offices were split between two NRT subsidiaries: 13 to Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage and four to Sotheby's International Realty. Founded in 1910 by Frank Howard Allen Jr., FHA had exchanged hands only once before, when Lawrence Brackett with his wife, Berenice, took over in 1989, a transaction also facilitated by Keegin Harrison.
