Safety In Prints Kids, otherwise known as SIP Kids, is a national child safety program that tours the country and provides parents/guardians with FBI quality digital fingerprints and photos of their children. Custom software captures a child’s fingerprints using digital inkless capture device. Parents/guardians were provided with an 8 ½ x 11” printout of their child’s prints alongside their child’s photo, which may be used anywhere in the world to aid in the event of an emergency situation.The SIP Kids event included child safety seat inspections performed by the Cheshire Police and demonstrations from JC Karate, Valentin Karate, Dynamite Academy of Gymnastics and Miss Cindy’s School of Dance. Face painting, balloons and plenty of refreshments rounded out the event.“SIP Kids is a renowned national organization that is committed to helping families. What makes us one of the best programs in the country is our commitment to always keep our program focused on helping families and taking a proactive approach to child safety. We work with local businesses and organizations that are looking to give back to their community which makes our events free to families. Each week our events are hosted across the country not only providing digital fingerprints for the children but also providing empowering safety information to families. With this information our hope is that no parent will ever need to use the records we provide them, rather their children will be as prepared as possible if they are ever in an dangerous situation.

Even though our program provides FBI quality digital fingerprinting for families, we also focus on educating them on how to protect themselves. We provide parents with valuable information to discuss and practice with their child so that they may be as prepared as possible if they are ever in a potentially harmful situation. While the records we create for each child can greatly aid in an investigation and help save precious time, our biggest hope is that no parent should ever need to use those records! Many local groups will also bring our information on safety programs that they provide to children in the community.
