Kelly Paper began as a traditional paper merchant. Being responsive to their customers needs they recognized the need for better availability of products in smaller quantities for the printing community. This resulted in the first paper & graphics store being opened in downtown Los Angeles in 1952. Over the next thirty years Kelly Paper expanded to nine locations and a slew of similar operations sprang up all over the country.In 1986 the Kelly Family sold the company to private investors who, seeing tremendous opportunities with the small to midsize printers, began an aggressive expansion that included additional stores, expanded services and a broader product offering.Couple all that with a shift in philosophy from self help to an all out customer service focus and you have a company that has built a reputation for being a solid business partner rather than just a supplier.
